The word Web 2.0 does not refer to any technology as such. It just refers to the way how we
have changed our usage of the World Wide Web. In the earlier period of internet (now known
as Web 1.0) website were used like phone books, encyclopaedias and the sorts. Web 2.0 has
enabled the usage of Web as a platform for development of new programs and interactive
tools. However, its definition is greatly dependent on how users implement these functions.
